Walnut Grove Children's Ministry is for  Ephesians 4:12  the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edify ing of itself in love.

I am 45 years old; Married my husbands name is Rick and we have one child named Ricky. I have lived in Vancouver for 30 years; while in high school.


I felt the calling on my life to be a teacher of children; Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, it will not depart" kept running through my mind. I attend Clark College and majored in early childhood education for 3 years and attended Eugene Bible College for 1 studying Christian Education.

I had been a part of Walnut Grove for 15 years during which time I was the children’s church director/teacher; and the Wednesday night teacher as well.  During this time I taught our former youth pastor as a child and several of the leaders of our church when they were children and after returning 3 years ago.  I teach the Wednesday (hlcc) Class and Children’s church.  I am now teaching of the children of the children I taught previously.
